Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Callisto Forge handles information in connection with this website and the publishing application operated by the studio.

Scope

Callisto Forge ("we", "us") is an independent studio that produces short-form films with generative AI and distributes them on third-party platforms. This policy covers the website at https://thecallistoforge.com and Callisto Forge Publisher, an internal application used exclusively by the studio to upload its own content to its own accounts.

Information collected by this website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising tags or tracking technologies, and does not include any forms. We do not collect personal information from visitors.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the website, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels or device fingerprinting. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is displayed.

Should we introduce analytics or any other non-essential technology in the future, we will update this policy beforehand and request your consent where required by law.

Callisto Forge Publisher and platform APIs

Callisto Forge Publisher connects only to accounts owned and operated by the studio. It is not offered to the public and does not access the accounts or data of any other user.

The application uses the following services to publish the studio's videos:

  • YouTube API Services, to upload videos and read basic information about the studio's own channel.
  • Instagram Platform (Meta), to publish Reels to the studio's own Instagram account.
  • TikTok Content Posting API, to submit videos to the studio's own TikTok account.

YouTube API Services

Callisto Forge Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By interacting with content published through it, you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information processed by YouTube is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Access granted to the application can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page.

Storage and security of credentials

Authorization tokens issued by the platforms are stored locally on the studio's own computer, are never shared with third parties and are used solely to publish the studio's content.

Video files are held in private cloud storage for no longer than required to complete publication and are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

Data retention and deletion

Callisto Forge Publisher does not store YouTube data other than the identifiers and links of the videos it has uploaded, which are kept in a private publishing log for record-keeping.

Stored authorization tokens are deleted immediately when access is revoked or when the application is retired. Requests to delete any information held by the studio can be sent to the contact address below and are completed within 7 days.

Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We do not use information obtained through platform APIs for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than publishing the studio's content.
